VisualDsolve is a Mathematica package designed to allow the user to
visually explore solutions of ordinary differential equations. The
package comes with an extensive manual that shows numerous examples of
using VisualDSolve. The article under review exhibits three examples
of ways that an instructor can use a graphical approach in order to investigate
traditional topics in a standard differential equations course, including
a driven mass-spring system and the Poincaré-Bendixson Theorem.
