This is annual meeting of undergraduate math majors (and possibly) their advisors, usually in the middle of April. There is an invited faculty speaker, but the rest of the talks are given by math majors. The attendants are other students and some faculty. Most are from colleges in the Northeast, primarily from the state of New York. Last year 7 Geneseo students participated. The invited faculty spealer was Joseph Gallian. 9 other students and 2 faculty members also attended.
Typically we leave as a group on Friday afternoon,
eat dinner together at a nice restaurant, sleep in a hotel, eat breakfast
the next morning and attend the talks. Lunch is provided by the sponsors
of the conference. After the afternoon session is completed we drive
back to Geneseo.
